It was a bug or error which is now fixed. This Rs 1 plan actually gives only 10MB data for 1 day

Looks like Jio is going to honor those recharges, since benefits are NOT reduced for the recharged numbers.

The errors are both 100MB instead of 10MB AND 30 days instead of 1 day. Looks more like a deliberate move to me (to calculate real inactive numbers), than a error, since the error is on BOTH validity and data value.

So yesterday we had some hope for secondary numbers for OTP & incoming purposes. Now RIP for that hope...

Even then, recharging 12 times for one year is much much easier than even 30 times for one month.

Best alternative is making Top-up for Rs100 and get Rs81 or something and do all Re1 recharges by using Balance. Here you will be losing Rs19, but still much better than so many transactions. So it comes to Rs100 for 81 days == > Rs450 for one year with NO outgoing call facility.
