Bengal’s teaching job aspirants arrested for protests on the streets of Kolkata alleged that they were assaulted and bitten by the police.

Arunima Pal, one of the arrested Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) aspirants, alleged that she was bitten by a female police officer on Wednesday while being removed from outside Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee's office. The police have claimed that their officer in uniform was attacked by the agitator.
