What procedure? There is not any kind of... Depends on your luck as i said in that old thread of mine, all we need to prove is device is faulty, i proved by showing hardware related fault. Since he already did the same and Amazon refused, there isn't much hope left.
No one can survive without such cheap policies in their e-commerce business i think, as many time people make fool to them and get cash in return, even regular cashbacks. So they cover up every loss via such defective products non return.
@RajKumar bro, If you followed my past posts, you can find I ordered almost 25 Redmi phones.
I use RN4 (64GB), wife using 32GB variant for last 9 months. Not a single issue on any of these 25 (all the owners are at my workplace).
In last FK sale, I asked my wife to exchange it with Oppo F3 plus (approx ₹11000 after exchange & discounts) which was originally cost of ₹30999. But she is in so much love with RN4, that immediately refused.
here is nothing to worry, Redmi is a reputed and Old player in phone business.
my 4/5 friends using Redmi now, starting from Redmi 4A to Redmi 4, Redmi note 4 and Redmi A1
no one complaint about heating issue till now, they faced Camera is not upto the mark and in mi A1, RAM management is not good , said by them .
overall U can Trust upon Redmi. see samsunng battery also exploded in recent, iphone battery also getting some error in iphone 8.
but people still buying Samsung and I phone....
so anyone can trust Redmi .,
