In what world is 6 inches small? I would also like a small screen device. I am not getting one without spending 30-40k. Samsung ruined everything with the Note series. Big screen use to be called phablets now it's called phones. My girlfriend currently uses an iPhone 6s. I know it's ancient but fits perfectly inside her purse. But that's a premium market. The market which Micromax is trying to get into demands bigger screen devices.
I doubt small phones are coming back.

I recently gifted my cousin iPhone 12 which is at least small from my phone. Although I like that iPhone 12 Mini and thought to gift it to my mother but my mom refused by saying "no way what if I left it to some sabji wala thela". Apart from this Device world is full of experiments, so can't say anything specific.

Micromax In 1 - Coming Soon | Flipkart.com

In Note 1 had relatively less expectations (due to past micromax xp) even with huge hype and it finally won due to those least expectations. Let us wait and see, whether In 1 will repeat the story.

@iDJ small phones are very niche market. Affordable small phones are sadly not coming at all. Right now the cheapest small phones are Pixel 4a and iPhone SE, both are anything but affordable, even though they are marketed as one. I wonder how come Rs30k+ phones are called affordable???
