Breaking Massive Cut in GST Rates

Which 2/3 are we discussing here and who are those non-BJP parties which constitute those 2/3rd voting power? From the map it looks like close to 2/3rd of the states will support any move especially TN, this was clearly evident during the President and VP election.

If 3/4 majority voting is not enough to pass law then we need a rule which makes 100% voting in favour mandatory like Nuclear supplier group has, even in that case also it's the fault of Congress, they should have made 100% voting in favour madetory to form union and state Govt and to pass any law in parliament while writing constitution.

But guess what, is it practical ? Can you make every one happy ?

Its not easy to keep changing GST rates every now and then. Let's wait and watch as both centre and states have to vote and majority votes decide the changes
You are wrong. It is easy for them to change every now and then. I think you forgot that these are the people who banned the notes in a single night without any preparation and the people's suffered a lot. They said that they want to go digital, but what happened is that this government is releasing new notes in rainbow colors...

Absolutely true, and regarding law change, majority rules in democracy unlike socialist country.

But these are also the same people who managed to force Swiss government to share indian bank account details and also managed to bring down money in their bank to record low.

Indians’ money in Swiss banks hit record low at Rs. 4,500 crore

Switzerland to share info on Indians holding Swiss bank accounts

What previous govt did in this ? I also hv not heard of any lakh crore level scam in last 4 years which was a regular news in newspapers under previous govt. #Juststatingfacts.

Some people will not appreciate whatever good the Govt does. They have issues with whatever the govt does.

And linking everything to elections is the dirty mindset, which has taken over our right mind since last 60 years. We cant accept change.

I bet you Bro... I am hearing this news from last few years. Swiss will never share the information. Even if they Share to India, it will never ever get disclosed to the public... And you know, these people started to deposit the black money other than Swiss... So we people are finally fools...

I will just ask the government to just link the Aadhar card to voter id, to avoid duplicates voters. And in election, everyone should use their thumb to register their vote and instead of simple voting buttons. And ask them to include petrol, diesel and other petro chemical products to the so called GST....

If 75% states support fuel being part of GST, it will surely be added. Wait for it bro
