On papers we still have Malang Sarr who hasn't moved so far.But this is just on papers,the leaky defense of last year will need more than patches to make it solid.

even though it was just a struggling championship team,some of the play from Chelsea was very good.Again the need of a Defensive midfielder who doesn't have the inclination of going forward was felt when Barnsley peppered Chelsea goal in 1st half.Hopefully Lampard knows and rates someone other than Rice for that position
