I am using jio airfiber.this month my validity will expire.i want to take Airtel airfiber with dth connection. They will give me free of cost because I am postpaid user.is this the right decision??

Yes, I agree that JioTV+ features aren't convenient either but they at least aggregate various live TV channels together similar like DTH. Viewing all those channels using multiple OTT apps would be a tedious job, at least for me.
Because of this reason I want to shift to Airtel airfiber. One thing I want to know I have to recharge evry month for jio airfiber or I have to take 3 months and 6 months plan

After initial payment against bill cycle (3 or 6 or 12 months) completed, they will raise postpaid bills for every month, so you can pay monthly bill in due date,

Bro, what do you watch in LIVE channels and why is it required.
We can watch daily soaps and other daily programs without ad in respective apps and in your convenient time.

If navigation is main point, then OTT is not good for you.
From our forum members, it seems difficult for elder people to navigate apps.
I dont watch live tv except for sports. I just asked for OP. Even for young people jiotv+ navigation sucks unless we want to watch some specific program then its no problem.

I am also planning to switch next month or it it possible to get refund if submit jio connection before 1 month?

Meanwhile my friend is struggling to activate his airtel airfibre connection because the technician said you must be within 500m range then only account will get activate or maybe technician is noobie... not sure.. he was saying this is his 2nd connection in my town

Jio AirFiber has a no refund policy once the connection installed. So if you disconnect the connection, they will stop billing your account and pickup the device. Your money is wasted if you do that so I would advise you to keep it whether use or not until the billing term is completed.

The technician is not noob, he said it right. I also got to know the same from Airtel people. 500 meters is the maximum range from tower distance for Airtel AirFiber. Otherwise it can not be installed.

Thanks for confirming.. Just curious what if we activate in some place close to tower and later install in the house (range 600m) will it cause any issue?

Airtel AirFiber won't work if it's distance is 600m. It'a due to their tower 5G range limitations.

To avoid this distance related issues, Airtel has measures in place for AirFiber installations. Their technicians can only provide connections within 500m distance from tower area.

Thanks bro... indeed this prove technician is noobie... shouldn't had agree to install if the house was not within range 😅
