I am using jio airfiber.this month my validity will expire.i want to take Airtel airfiber with dth connection. They will give me free of cost because I am postpaid user.is this the right decision??

Bro, my suggestion. You can take Xtream fiber and instead of their DTH connection you can buy Amazon stick if you are happy with viewing thru apps instead of TV Channels and network is stable.

Also lot of good free apps available in App store.
Also you can pay and take from any aggregators- Tatasky binge, Airtel xtream app, Watcho , OTT play , etc whichever is good for your requirement on monthly basis.

But what about live channels

All the channels available in respective apps like
SunNxt - Sun network all languages channels.
Zee5- Zee network channels.
Yupp tv app- you can get live channels.
Small network channels you can watch freely thru yupp tv, distro tv ,etc .

Is any specific language channel required bro?

I don't think navigating through various OTT apps would be as convenient as DTH or Jio STB/JioTV+.

Yea. But jiostb/JioTv+ are also not that convenient. Are they?
Yes, I agree that JioTV+ features aren't convenient either but they at least aggregate various live TV channels together similar like DTH. Viewing all those channels using multiple OTT apps would be a tedious job, at least for me.

Exactly bro and problem with star channels shall also be solved after the merger i think they also be access like colors

Bro, what do you watch in LIVE channels and why is it required.
We can watch daily soaps and other daily programs without ad in respective apps and in your convenient time.

If navigation is main point, then OTT is not good for you.
From our forum members, it seems difficult for elder people to navigate apps.
