I am creating this thread to discuss about JioFiber ONT Firmware Updates.

Last night my JioFiber ONT (JCOW414) was automatically updated to version R2.57 from R2.52.1.

The ONT web configuration page (192.168.29.1) has some visual changes.

One useful change I found was router uptime is now visible on the web configuration page under Status -> Device status -> System information.

Hi all, I just found out that my Jio Fiber router (JCOW414) received an update today. There are some noticeable changes, including a modernized interface in a few sections (I'll share some screenshots). However, several important features have been removed with this update. The available options are now quite limited, and UPnP mode is gone. Also, Radius server configuration is no longer available.

Earlier, it was possible to adjust the QoS settings in the WMM section, but now all configurations are locked and can’t be changed. Also, the time zone is fixed to India by default, and there’s no option to modify it anymore.

If anyone discovers other missing features after this update, please share them here so we can keep everyone informed.

i downloaded the firmware but when i try to upgrade my router, it shows the firmware is corrupted

Jio mesh configuration is not turning on after recent update.

First time hearing issues from someone using Jio mesh extender. It's hard to find people using it because majority of the users prefer to use TP-Link Deco mesh extenders.

Even Jio's own technicians have said me that Jio mesh extenders are terrible and one shouldn't opt for this device as it tends to create more problems than solving them.
