So after visiting the Reliance Digital store, I've got my JIOFI3 device and found out that there are three offers that one can make use of while purchasing the JioFi 2/3 device. 

1. 100% cashback offer. When you buy a new JioFi dongle, you'll have to pay Rs. 1999/- and buy a new SIM by paying an additional Rs.408 or Rs. 509 (as per your required plan). You'll get Rs.2010 worth 4G data vouchers (Rs.201 booster recharge x10 - spread across 10 subsequent recharges on the number you buy with the JioFi). This will effectively make the cost of the device = ZERO

2. When you buy a new JioFi dongle, you'll have to pay Rs. 1999/- and buy a new SIM by paying an additional Rs.408 or Rs. 509 (as per your required plan). You'll get Rs.1005 worth 4G data vouchers (Rs.201 booster recharge x5 - spread across 5 subsequent recharges on the number you buy with the JioFi). This will effectively make the cost of the device = 994

3. Exchanging old Dongle - When you buy a new JioFi dongle, you'll have to pay Rs. 999/- and buy a new SIM by paying an additional Rs.408 or Rs. 509 (as per your required plan). You'll get Rs.1005 worth 4G data vouchers (Rs.201 booster recharge x5 - spread across 5 subsequent recharges on the number you buy with the JioFi). This will effectively make the cost of the device = ZERO


If you call the nearest reliance digital store, they may deny any offer being available.. just go to the store and make them check for the offer and you'll get it.

What is booster recharge they giving..is it in paper voucher form or electronic mode.

And will they gives in all store or any specific store.
Old dongle means which dongle any company dongle? Or old jiofi router?

Booster recharge means, once u exhaust daily quota, you'll get additional data..
for Rs.201 you get 5GB additional data FOR 28 days on the whole.. 

It'll be automatically applied when you recharge for the no. u got with the purchase of JioFi device.

Reliance Jio’s new plans offer 100% cashback on JioFi on exchange of old dongle, datacard, router

Reliance Jio has launched a 100% cashback offer with JioFi 4G router, as the Mukesh Ambani-owned tries to attract users of dongles, datacard and wifi routers offered by rival telcos.

The company has come up with two plans where as part of the first plan, users will get a 100% exchange offer where they’ll be required to exchange their existing datacard, dongle or hotspot router at any Jio Digital store or Jio Care store and will get 4G data worth Rs 2010 against the device exchanged.

The customers will have to pay Rs 1999 to get the JioFi router and will have to do a mandatory first recharge of Rs 408 which is Rs309 for the plan – which ensures freebies for 84 days - and Rs99 for a Jio Prime membership.

Therefore, the customer pays Rs 1999 minus the Rs 2010 worth 4G data which translates into zero cost for the customer and the device with internet connection becomes almost free. However, the Rs 408 mandatory recharge is the additional cost which the user will have to pay in order to avail the services.

Under the second plan, users get JioFi at Rs 1999 after a first mandatory recharge of Rs 408 (Rs309 + Rs99) but they get 4G data worth Rs 1005 which translates to the effective cost of Rs 994 (Rs1999 - Rs1005). Users need not exchange their existing data connections for this plan.

The first plan is ideal for all existing dongle users whereas the second plan is ideal for laptop users, 2G/3G phone users and tablet users, the person said.

But ettelecom says we hv to pay full 1999 and also pay 99+309. Only then we will get 4G data worth Rs 2010 .
