This is a very good news for Jio Phone users. ₹75 for unlimited calls where others are charging excessive amount of ₹149. I think other operator should introduce ₹98 calls and SMS only plans when feature phone user uses only cost effective 2G services.

Scrapping of iuc will affect Airtel and Vi much more than it will affect jio. Airtel and Vi will find it difficult to allow incoming calls on 2G network. They will either be forced to shutdown 2G network early or then increase the minimum monthly recharge for validity. 4G network is best for zero iuc.

Correction JioPhone has 75 and 125 plans. In which they used to get 500 min. Otherwise 149 plan has only 300 min.

Not for JioPhone users I got the calls daily basis from my aunt to recharge their numbers
