I think yes as I never used that SIM in my Redmi, always used that in my JioFi 2 from the time of purchase So that I can get that extra 5GB addon(dongle exchange offer)

Jio is giving 10 GB data even those numbers which was not even recharged till now. I got a free sim around last year sept-oct. after that never used, neither prime nor any plan but still got 10 GB addon. And guess what Internet working with just that data addon.
As you can see there is nothing as base plan not prime membership but still internet working in full throttle

But one downside, calling not working, even jio to jio calling not working. Only internet working. I guess I hv to make whatsapp call now

@Sarkar bro, all my Jio connections are identical (more or less) of yours.
*My phone: Got SIM in Dec, used in non-volte phone till May end, then in RN4 (new). Got 10GB extra for this only.
*2 SIMs in Jan, using one in Wife's RN4, no extra GB. 2nd SIM (no plan, but prime) deactivated 2 weeks ago (message from Jio - due to non-use), also de-listed in my Jio account.
*4th SIM in May for Jiofi (Dongle exchange). Getting extra 5GBs for recharges, but no other benefits.

If you are not entitled benefit of 10 GB, just dial 198 about this offer, immediately 10GB will be added to your account those who are using Jio sim with redmi.
