There is a new update out for the Jio IDU (indoor unit). I have seen multiple IDU models have received this update.

The new firmware version is R2.0.6.

I don't know if this version fixes your issue @Azhar888 but you should call the CC and get this update installed by scheduling an engineer visit.

You're welcome bro!

Your question reminds me of my early days with JioFiber. I too wondered the same and got the answer later on. :D

The thing is Jio Fiber/AirFiber router's TR-069 or remote management can only be accessed by the THD (technical help desk) team and THD team can be contacted by Jio technicians and they won't respond to the customers.

Jio's customer support can only raise a SR (service request) on your connection and once the technician visits your location, you can ask him to call the THD team and they will upgrade the router firmware.

During the process the ONT will reboot several times. Once the update is done, you can check MyJio app and under device details the new version number will reflect instantaneously.

I called cc today and they said they will check with backend team and let me know.. bro tell me one thing, do they push the update to all the devices after some days/weeks or it's always manual process i.e. need to call cc and technician will help to install.

CC can not check with backend team. They have simply turned down your request, unless an SR was raised during your call.

It's an automatic process but many ONTs do not receive the newer updates and remains on older version. In such case manual update can be done by contacting THD team through technician.

@Azhar888 bro, your Jio ONT was auto updated to the latest firmware or not?

The latest firmware version for your ONT is JIDU6601_R2.0.9

I am still on 1.9.5
But my issue is resolved, one difference I observed earlier 2.4ghz was in channel 1 but now it is transmitting in channel 11, I guess channel was conflicting , maybe with other devices
