Firstly Playing IPL don't meant that Jos Buttler skipped test cricket..not full IPL didn't crossed over with English summer.. only some part had crossed it..He wasn't selected for Sri Lanka vs England that's why he continued to play for IPL..Even after IPL 2016..he has been selected for test cricket.. :hello

They have 10 channels now but still they haven't been able to produce a news show like SportsCentre. Their website is also shutdown. They have no sense of how to broadcast multiple contents. You can check channel 9 and its graphics during aus vs Rsa test. That is ages ahead of star as far as quality and graphics are concerned. I disclose that I'm a die hard test cricket fan and certainty there is a scope for improvement in broadcasting and graphics.

Apart that I owe ESPN star sports formerly ESS for making global sporting content most regular in India. But I regret to confess that Star has spoiled the party altogether beyond Espn. Currently Sony is way better in term of content as well as professionalism in telecasting. When star took a foot back ; in the mileage time spn took a massive step forward.

For star there is no need of so many channels ; whereas Sony need couple of more channels at least. Cricket fans home preference is star whereas any other sports lover will go with Sony. That's the present scenario where star lost the strategic war, I opine.

I think only Sky Sports has graphics to match the quality of Channel 9. Star has the poorest performance in that field.
I tried the ₹199/month pack on Hostar to watch EPL. To my disappointment I observed that not all the matches are listed on the website and the stream lags by atleast 40-60 seconds. They either have absolutely no idea how to handle multiple contents or they have totally incompetent people at their helm. I finally cancelled the subscription and switched to Mobdro app. I don't have HD tv so I cancelled the Star Sports subscription from my tv package as I have no interest to pay ₹50 just to watch rerun of Kabaddi, ISL and Cricket all day.
