Few Of My Clients Have Both IPTV And Digital Cable!

Have Seen The Channel Quality On Both Boxes! Channels On IPTV Is Definitely Great Than Cable TV Box Due To Uncompression! Some 4K VOD Services Also They Are Giving!

Hoping For Same Kind Of Quality Here Also

They are compressed channels in their iptv for now. But may be uncompressed in future when the testing is over.

I think Airtel's previous iptv have compressed with less bandwidth due to earlier internet speeds have 10mbps, but now fiber speeds have increased drastically. So they can stream uncompressed content with 4K now, then it will be game changer for iptv over DTH/Cable tv.

IPTV over wireless internet is still challenging considering the bandwidth limitations. In fiber network they can easily transmit the channels through dedicated VLAN as like digital cable tv. Airtel IPTV may not going to be a game changer in coming days. If BSNL succeeds implementing IFTV it would lead the market. Since BSNL fiber reaches even remote villages.

What's your thoughts about jio iptv ? 🙂
Jio also bad and poor signal. Unless both airtel and jio gives internet or TV through FTTH they won't succeed. Airtel guys are very poor in giving FTTH connection, i live 500meters from main city Airtel still can't able to give FTTH connection. Our area is now connected with BSNL Railwire Actfiber Tic fiber. After augmenting air fiber both airtel and jio is reduced their focus on FTTH. Check your 5G speed during cloudy day or rainy day u will understand.

When airtel can't even continue their mobile tv services unlike jio tv, how do we think that they will succeed in IPTV or provide low cost IPTV service's. Even if they launch IPTV it would be costlier and may not be free like jio. I don't have good opinion with Airtel.
