I have Airtel Fiber with xstream box, then still require iptv box for iptv instead of DTH, actually I have already removed dish & its wire longtime ago, now watching OTT in xstream box and Sony 4K tv, waiting iptv for 4K sports channel
Is Xstream box working without DTH recharge ? or you are recharging dth and not watching dth channels?

As per Airtel technical team,Plans and benefits will be same of IPTV as of now are of Airtel Xstream Fiber and Airfiber.
Only difference will be that IPTV box will stream tv channels online without the need of ODU.

Xstream box working without DTH as I'm in Rs.699/- fiber plan.
It didn't work to me last year Jan month. Once i removed dth from airtel black, it blocked out.

And 699 plan, it includes DTH, 499 for fiber and 200 for DTH, seems you are paying for dth and not using it

some OTTs also include in 699 plan, Hotstar, Xstream premium and now Zee5. I have disconnected Dish due to Apartment issues.

I have inquired Airtel store, here in Vizag, they told that iptv box will available by month end or March only. waiting to exchange xstream box with iptv box.

Hi bros I don't understand why everyone want to see star 4k in iptv, it is already available in dth.I feel dth quality of star 4k will be far batter than what they provide in iptv. U will also be charged like dth only they will not provide it for free

They will definitely compress the channels in iptv otherwise it will not be smooth.
As someone told the bandwidth of star 4k is 15mbps it means the connection speed should be atleast 150mbps and ur iptv box should be beside wifi router with only 5ghz band or it should be connected with lanport which will not provide more than 100mbps

I feel it is actually a downgrade and they are saving the costs and man power.
