This I don't particularly agree with. Gill had a pretty good season last year, he's not exceptional this season for sure but saying should bank on Devdutt who also has only one good season doesn't make any sense. These guys should perform consistently, should put up performances in every chance they get. Many one season wonders were der in IPL. So, people should not say anything based out of a single tournament. They should perform in every other things they are playing. Sure DDP, has played good, how about Ruturaj he had pretty good domestic, India A and IPL as well.Also selectors should bank on players like Devdutt, Samad rather than projecting average players like Gill.
