I honor everyone's viewpoint who criticize RCB & Kohli, but not agreed with them. My view is mostly matches with Sehwag's
IPL 2020: Virender Sehwag Defends Virat Kohli's Leadership Skills
Few points from me:
*Parthiv should be opening with Devdutt. If left-right combination is a concern, then Virat should swap with Parthiv. Finch should be given the finisher role.
*Phillippe had some success at the top. IMO, he should be continued in the eliminator (in place of Moeen) with Finch at 5.
*Dube should be given a consistent run (with a fare share of bowling). Right now, he's going the Sarfraz way.
*Styen, Udana, Umesh must go. They should invest & try to get Starc/Fizz or some other emerging Fast bowler from BBL/CPL. Also Shakib in place of Moeen.
* Find and groom some young Indian talent for number 6/7 (stand-by for Dube).
Their line-up IMO:
Padikkal
Virat
Parthiv
ABD
Finch
Dube
Morris
Sundar
Starc/Mustafizur
Saini/Siraz
Chahal

Finch should be given the finisher role.
I doubt whether Finch would stay on at all, given they'll need another bowler like Mitchell Starc.

Absolutely. The Gurkeerat experiment did not work, otherwise he was playing in all matches before that.
*Styen, Udana, Umesh must go
Won't agree about Udana. He must be present as the backup of Morris, Richardson and (if he comes in next year) Starc
Also Shakib in place of Moeen.
Disagreed. Moeen stays at 5 instead of Finch. He should've been given a longer run this season though, instead of that Gurkeerat experiment.

Right now if we need a reliable Indian middle order player, that would be Aditya Tare. He'll have to be traded from MI tho.

My PXI next year would look like:
  1. Devdutt
  2. Kohli
  3. Dube
  4. ABD
  5. Moeen
  6. Siraj/Tare (as per bowling/batting conditions)
  7. Morris
  8. Washi
  9. Starc
  10. Chahal
  11. Saini
The following people will have to leave if RCB stand a serious chance next year: Umesh, Steyn, Finch, Gurkeerat. This will give us a 11.1 cr purse. Couple that with 6.4 cr from this year remaining balance, more than enough to buy Starc and other backups..

After the Cummins debacle, nobody would pay 15cr for an international fast bowler alone..

Batting would be too weak. Too many bowlers in the line-up with 6 regular plus Moeen & Dube.
Edit: On a second thought, not a bad looking lineup with 4 allrounders. Also there’s a decent number of left handers. I’m big fan of classical lefties.

As Sehwag said, all we need is 5 good batsmen. Dube has one fifty at No. 3. Moeen doesn't need any mention. Morris too has one lower order 50 that I remember..
