And as always what you said exactly opposite happened, now the result is that he has scored back to back 3 ipl 50s.

Not Surprised, if you see there are very few Australians who have succeeded in IPL, but are Very good players for there National team....
Cummins, Smith, Finch, Alex Carey, Josh Hazelwood along with Maxwell.....
Australian player might struggle to passionately get involved with Franchise concept.....
Instead West Indian, South African, New Zealand and to certain Extent England players are more professional when it comes to performance in IPL....

Shubham should not force himself to become a power hitter, he is very talented batsman and will Succeed in Test Matches and ODI's (need to improve running between the wickets).....
Forcefully trying to be power hitter will only affect his batting negatively.....
