I think Captain/Captaincy there is a limit .. you have enough time to speak whatever to Youngsters in dressing room or Practice session but in open camera is wrong because youngsters not only playing in Ipl they have enough sporting tournament's outside IPL .. so you don't have any rights speak about them negative in open camera .. what the youngsters will think after ur words ??

Don't forget ur intial stage performance under Dada Captaincy he gave enough chances to you after ur failures if he refuses you u won't stand infront of cam yesterday Mr.CSK Captain pls mind it .. My strong condemned to ur yesterday statement on youngsters .. Let's continue too find spark on Kedar , Chawla 8th position always waiting for your team in IPL .. Why Ashwin Released ?? Why Raina went ?? Why DK , Vijay shankar , varun Chakravarty not in CSK team ?? Many unanswered questions remains at top of ur victory & failures .. For Handwash statment u can say any blah blah after loss the match but it shouldn't touch other players respect & prestige else you have to answer how many runs u scored in a losing matches .. So with all this until unless current CSK Captain retires I won't see any upcoming CSK matches in my life wheather they lose or win it doesn't matter to me at all

Not that it matters but since you mentioned - Kedar's last match for India was an ODI on Feb 8th, one month before the lockdown.

In that case, they should have focused on selecting youngsters as well as daddies in almost equal proportions...

Well, quite a few teams have selected youngsters and "daddies" in varying proportions but none of them apart from Mumbai Indians will be able to claim to be 2 time finalists in the 3 year cycle. Based on that, the selection was quite good? Or, being one of the only two teams amongst 8 to be 2 time finalists doesn't quite cut it and is not sufficient?

On a side-note, addressed to everyone in general, Dhoni did quite see the spark among some over the years. Examples - Ashwin, Mohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar, etc. who went on to do well for India in varying degrees after doing well for CSK. I'm not even counting the foreigners some of whom who had a new lease of life in their national teams after playing for CSK. Examples - Albie Morkel, Bollinger, Dirk Nannes, one more bowler who came as a replacement for Bollinger/Nannes (can't remember the name).

Based on this, I would say Dhoni is a far better judge comparatively than most others in the world on who can fit into the team and deliver for CSK/IPL/India at that level.
