They are used to play with veterans . They saw spark in kedar jadhav but failed to see it in jagadesan. Giving such statements without giving youngsters chances is absolutely ridiculous.

Or he might be referring to Ruturaj Gaikwad who was playing first time in IPL and got only 2 chances.

Gaikwad was in the next place to Padikkal in the most runs scored in the T20 league. He made some mistakes. I agree. But, Jagadeesan's story is sad.

Tamil commentary(specially Kris Srikanth) was outright bashing dhoni's statement about spark. This is what I love in the tamil commentary and something I miss in the english one. Need the same from english commentators to make fair criticism against big names when they are absolutely wrong.

It's the greatness of tahir saying like this with big heart .
Nevertheless this turning blind eye on him has played it's part in teams straight defeats .

Playing first time on such big platform without single international match experience puts pressure on young players and thats natural . But you have to put faith in them and give them sufficient chances to prove them . Even MS despite being 2007 T20 WC winning captain and playing for india for 2-3 years , scored 2(3) in his first ipl match in 2008. Then how come he judged Ruturaj with only 2 match performance ?? Or how come he can be unsatisfied by 33 runs of jagadesan ?

These words arent expected from captain with experience of 13-14 years

I agreed with MSD statements, Youngster Ruturaj Gaekwaud has no spark in him , even tailender Piyush Chawla could bat better than him.

As far as Suresh Raina replacement, they could have gone with best replacement available in middle order was Yusuf Pathan he could have stabilise middle order batting, not saying he is same like before as a batsman, but still a match winner could have atleast won 2-3 matches on its own with his batting. He could also given CSK 2 overs of spin if required.

Jagadesan was good but Yusuf Pathan was best choice CSK could have opted for
