I thought it was RCB who had lost 100 matches first. I remember last year during a double header, KKR had won 100 games. That same day, RCB had lost 100 games as well..

Don't underestimate RCB . They have defeated team like MI and CSK yesterday . Atleast we saw intent of MI of chasing down such huge total , while CSK seems to have forgot completely how to chase a total that against teams like RCB too.

Rayudu was jogging for singles yesterday when there was an easy chance for doubles, despite the required run rate being above 10. KP on the air was furious about it. And the way Jagadeesan was runout by just giving up, without even trying to dive. Duplessis like an inexperienced youngster, as if he was on a mission to get out in that over, trying the same shot thrice! Seriously, no INTENT. This isn't the Chennai we have seen in the previous seasons. Something is wrong with the whole team.

We are assuming he bowled with the same action in the previous matches. It takes few minutes for a bowler to bowl with a different action to gain advantage. Not saying Narine did it. Also, the other possibility is, it may have been missed by the previous umpires if he had the same action in the previous matches as well.

CSK.. Needs complete overhaul.. Keep the name CSK.. Change everything else From staff, players to the design of jersey... Bring some freshness/life into the team. It's been same from 2008 onwards till now.

Narine has been permitted to bowl but if his bowling action will be reported agian then he will face suspension from bowling in this ipl

CSK.. Needs complete overhaul.. Keep the name CSK.. Change everything else From staff, players to the design of jersey... Bring some freshness/life into the team. It's been same from 2008 onwards till now.

In 2013 when Ricky Ponting was Mumbai Indians captain and was not performing well then he himself dropped off from playing XI since he realised he was occupying a spot and not performing well and made way for other player like Mitchell Johnson .

In 2018 KKR captain Gautam gambhir did the same thing and dropped himself off .
MSD should have realised that himself since I doubt anyone would dare to tell him that because of his larger than life image.

this is not only cause of defeats but it's one of root cause which needed to be fixed first .

They should have done this in 2018 itself. CSK felt like they were returning from a maternity leave Rajasthan Royals looked completely fresh.

At the start of the tournament I thought that maybe 2020 will make the impossible possible. Already CSK is eliminated in all but name. This has never happened before. Also, MI is consolidating its numero uno position, so I think another first will happen: MI will win the title in an even year.

At this point:

Safely qualifying: MI, DC
Likely to qualify: KKR, SRH/RCB (hoping for SRH)
Likely NOT to qualify: CSK and either SRH or RCB
Safely eliminated: KXIP, RR.

Though RR, unlike CSK, may spring a last-minute surprise. Between SRH and RCB, SRH looks a little more balanced with both bat and ball.
