Speaking to CricketNext, a senior BCCI official said that the move was made to ensure that none of the four franchises who play on April 8 — Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab — miss the presence of their captains on the eve of their campaign opening games.

Indian Premier League: Rajasthan Royals appoint Amol Muzumdar as batting coach

Rajasthan Royals have appointed domestic stalwart Amol Muzumdar as their batting coach ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 season.

Along with head of cricket Zubin Bharucha and bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule, Amol Muzumdar will oversee Rajasthan Royals’ first camp in Jaipur from March 13.

Ya Extra innings was there for World cup 2003, when it was telecasted on sony ent. channel & Max. & Even in 2007 wc when mandira bedi and charu sharma used to host the show.
