Baba Ramdev ’s Patanjali Ayurved will not advertise during the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) T20 league since the company feels that cricket, and specifically the IPL, is a “foreigner's game”.

“The sport (in this case, IPL) as it is, promotes consumerism and is sponsored by multinationals. Patanjali will invest in sports which are Indian and promote Indian sports at the grassroots such as wresting and kabaddi,” Patanjali chief executive
Acharya Balakrishna told ET.

IPL: Mumbai Indians start ticket sales

Tickets can be purchased through www.mumbaiindians.com, a media release issued here today said.

The tickets are priced between Rs 800 to Rs 8,000 and people can purchase tickets for all Mumbai Indians home games barring the one against Delhi Daredevils on April 14 as it has been reserved for under privileged children under the Reliance Foundation's social cause Education and Sports For All (ESA), the release said.
