Wait till they play without Pandya..

With the sh#t bowling they had last season, they qualified for playoffs.. Imagine Hardik on top of this team. You’ll see the MI of 2020
Hardik Pandya is of no use for 15cr, Injury prone player who can't last 4-5 matches, better they could have gone for Daryll Mitchell or Ravindra

Crucial to this development is the player's perspective, and it is learnt that Hardik is keen on the move to Mumbai. Without his interest, this move wouldn't have been possible. While his existing franchise still has the option to veto the trade, indications suggest that Titans' management has finally relented to the transfer. As earlier reported by Cricbuzz, this will be a mega trade, the biggest transfer deal in the IPL history.

It has been learned that Mumbai Indians will not be offering any players in return, dispelling the baseless rumours of Rohit Sharma being traded to Gujarat Titans. Mumbai Indians, facing limited funds in their salary cap, will need to free up resources to acquire Pandya. There are talks that they might consider releasing Cameron Green (INR 17.5 crore) and Jofra Archer (INR 8 crore) to generate funds to enable the transfer and auction activities. Going into the auction, each franchise is anyway granted an additional fund of INR 5 crore for the grand total of INR 100 crore.

As of now, the BCCI has been a silent spectator as the matter is between two franchises. Nothing official has come to them but it is likely that they will announce it by Saturday evening or Sunday, the last day for the trade and release of players.

IPL win is important than play offs. What's the use of going to play offs? It's same like India in last ten years. Going to knockouts and losing. Same with New Zealand and South Africa. Pandya is batsman. Now combination will hamper for sure with his arrival. They need to lose green, Archer and many more to buy more. They are yet to see good spin bowling department. Don't tell me Kumar Kartikey and Chawala are your lead spinners. Beyond Bumrah they don't have anyone in their bowling line up.

For the MI of last year even that is an achievement. Their batting luckily clicked for them.

They were staring at another non qualification, but RCB happened to have choked at the right moment so they qualified
