- Each team will be able to retain 8 players.
- The Indian/overseas compositions yet to be decided.
- No new teams will be added, IPL to continue with 10 teams.
- BCCI will work on how retained players will get a good sum of money.
- RTM cards unlikely with 8 retentions.
- Majority of IPL teams are in the favour of retaining around 8 players ahead of the IPL Mega auction.

According to me, Mega Auctions max only 4 should be allowed for franchises to retained.

They should allow only 2 players for retention so that other teams also will get some good Indian players for captaincy.. like SRH, RCB
