Half the season has now gone by and last year and this year's thread has been relatively calmer than the threads we had years before, requiring significantly lesser cleanup than previous seasons.

This is best they can field. They need to find back ups for Bumrah and let go of Jofra. They couldn't find replacements for Hardik, Krunal, Pollard yet. I still feel this is last year of Rohit and Kohli in IPL and white ball international cricket. When players like Dubey, Shankar, Manohar, Tewatia, Rinkoo Singh, Jitesh are performing so good, you don't need these two at top of the order.

Forget about it . After the mega auction,. MI has lost it's charm . Their bowling line up is just too good . So good that they were thrashed for 200 runs consecutively. I won't be surprised that they finish this year being second last / last in the table .

Slowly he'll get there.

If u are saying by this that he's pace will increase there are very less chances.
Some points on this
1- Historically if u see pace of a bowlers decreases as they age and get injured. Ex- Zahir, Munaf, Irfan,etc.
2- If someone increases pace later then there are chances he loses swing and chances of injury increase. Ex- Bhuvi
3- I have heard somewhere that arjun has bowled 140s regularly in SMAT and he got injured after that he's speed decreased bcoz he's not fully recovered yet. If this is the case then y are MI giving him chances if he's not fully fit yet?

Currently his role is just to bowl couple of overs in the powerplay.

If he's been given that role than won't it be beneficial for him if he bowls 3 or 4 overs on the trot at the start of the inngs. Atleast he will learn something by that.
