Both Starc and Cummins likely to be unavailable for Ipl 2023 cause of Ashes. Makes sense for Kkr to get Ferguson. Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, Green (if any of them don't pull out due to Ashes) will be main targets for Franchises. Gujarat should go for Phil Salt as Gurbaz wk replacement in Auction imo

• PBKS: Odean Smith ,Mayank Agarwal, Shahrukh Khan, Ishan Porel, Benny Howell, Baltej Dhanda, Writtick Chatterjee, Prabhsimran Singh, Ansh Patel out.
• KKR: Shivam Mavi, Mohammad Nabi, Chamika Karunaratne, Ramesh Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Aaron Finch out.
• GT: Matthew Wade, Vijay Shankar, Gurkeerat Singh, Jayant Yadav, Sai Kishore ,Varun Aaron out

Trades:

• PBKS-CSK trade deal for SRK broke down once they got confirmation that Curran is coming. That’s when they also took call to remove Bravo and Rayudu
• GT-KKR still in talks for Cummins-Ferguson trade
• DC-RR trade deal for Thakur-Padikkal broke down
• RCB-RR trade deal for Padikkal+uncapped-Rawat+Willey+Suyash broke down. That’s why RCB is retaining Rawat in case no further trades happen. (Seriously wishing this should have gone ahead, Minus Suyash)
• GT-CSK: CSK outright rejected Jadeja trade deal with Tewatia
• SRH in talks with MI to get in Sanjay Yadav. Looks very unlikely to go through

• RR hell bent to get Padikkal out
• RCB still exploring options to trade Rawat
• LSG looking on getting Pandey, Holder out
• DC hell bent to get Thakur out

There’s one outrageous “insider” who has claimed one big MI player getting released to try for Ben stokes. I laughed at that though…

And there’s another person claiming that Starc will also finally play this year () due to two reasons: WIPL so that the couple can spend time together in India + his dipping T20 stocks needs correction..
