Right. And SRH have had 2 spectacular collapses (first match against RCB, one against KXIP) apart from other mini-collapses for a reason. The ones present are not enough or not performing. Hence my thought process that SRH should pick Shivam Dube.....for whatever he is worth.

Abdul Samad has been really good at 6 in this year SMA trophy...

They played him in all matches in IPL2020 isn't it. And all thru either on commentary or online or even on OnlyTech, it was SRH has no batting after the top-3. One Abdul Samad is 1 out of the 4 middle order players needed. And not even accounting for injuries. These were the basis of my opinion on SRH should be picking Shivam Dube

Keep him as a cover only, not first choice Overseas opener.
RCB should either go for an overseas opener or move Kohli to opening spot.

RCB are now like:-
1. Overseas Opener
2. Devdut
3. Virat
4. ABD
5. Overseas/Indian batsman or WK batsman.
6. Batting All-rounder
7. Sundar
8. Richardson / other Overseas pacer
9. Saini
10. Siraj
11. Chahal

Opening should b paddikal and abd

Without abd, the middle order is way too weak. Can't risk that. Ab has to be at 4
