Senior citizen concession for Railway tickets has been permanently suspended, now even senior citizens will be charged full ticket fare. Earlier the change had been implemented temporarily during Covid, now it has been converted to permanent as government is losing too much revenue on account of concessions.

Indian Railway going to re introduce the discount system for Senior citizens.
earlier it was 50% discount for 58+ Female and 40% discount for 60+ male passenger
now to get discount, male or female passenger should be 70+ but Railway not decided yet how much discount will be there.
and one more thing, Discount will be there for Sleeper class only.
