Why are we disregarding Nathan Lyon? We need to accept that he is better spinner than Ashwin, Ashwin was not getting any spin in the previous match whereas Nathan Lyon was able to spin it both ways.

Ipl main reason for all this.players are struggling against spin attack which is new indian team.two months of ipl spoiled test cricket.india play around 50 to 60 test matches in a year before ipl comes now playing only 10 to 15 tests in year.
Players not interested to play in domestic and very much interested in ipl.better not to tour any country for test matches and play big bash ipl and other county matches.indian national team players fully occupied in ipl season every time which is no where seen in any county cricket matches.

Please correct the number of tests played by India, 60 test matches in a year means 300 days. Indian team has never played 300 days for test matches alone in a year.

All five were gettable as all were below 300 and if you are no1 team atleast they should have won atleast 3

We will hardly see totals around 250 being chased in 4th innings. Around 200 is within reach. 250 becomes very tough. We have hardly seen any team touring India chasing totals around 250 in the 4th innings. Even when Australia was No 1 side, it's the same case when they toured other parts of the world.

Impossible, still not correct, do you mean to say India played 175 days of test cricket earlier in one year. Every other day they were playing test cricket.

But what about Murli Vijay and KL Rahul? They should be dropped as well. If at all India wants to win this series, which is best chance till date, the opening pair needs to be changed.
