I am wondering why Ahmedabad is still not renamed. It should be Ashawal by now. Name change seems to be very select. Change should start from home.

Ashawal was very small. Its size was just about one area of Ahmedabad today.

There are demands to rename Ahmedabad to Karnavati. But, currently state government don't want to change it, because world heritage city status will be lost with name change.
