Same here in Guwahati. I am sick at home since last 2 weeks because of this. At morning I need two fans. Evening one fan. Night blanket with no fans.

We still not faced any big cyclone this year till now please not get me wrong I just say as per last 2 3 years trend
Plus now in recent time low pressure in festival common in West Bengal and upcoming festival will be Kali puja so chance is high

Both ECMWF and GFS are now forecasting that cyclone will cut through West Bengal around Tuesday (25th Oct).

I woke up at 5:30am
So only can confirm from that time till 6:30am modarate rain happened in Kolkata even yesterday night after 8:30pm light rain happen currently no rain but wind is blowing heavier than usual days weather is pleasant not soo cool not very hot sun not out fully just peaking behind the clouds

On 23/10/2022 wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph and on 24/10/2022 Wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph and gradually increase becoming 60-80 kmph gusting to 90 kmph is likely over North and South 24 Parganas and East Midnapore districts.
