Seeking Help How to save mobile data

Hi my dad`s mobile screen/touch pad is suddenly not working .. Although mobile is starting but screen is not responding .Is there any way to save/transfer mobile data or i have to get screen replaced.

Mobile handset is motorola.Donot remember exact model

Put the sim on a different device to use it. Mobile Hotspot won't work without touching the device.

I have faced this issue one time.
With use of OTG+mouse, I took backup and do factory reset. then, everything works fine.
It was software issue in my mobile.
