In today's world most of the services require a subscription of varied periods. Some we subscribe and use normally, some we do not use as we had expected while subscribing and some we forgot to cancel or don't wanna cancel.

Let's have a discussion about our subscriptions in this thread. Share what subscriptions you have, how much you are paying, which ones you use and which you would cancel and why

On topic: I feel anxious about subscription renewing. I instantly cancel the subscription bought using any auto renewal method. I mostly use this for free trials or discounted subscription.

Offtopic: Also I feel guilty for paying subscription as I end up listening to podcast or free videos on YouTube. The OTT subscriptions I mostly use Disney+ and Sony Liv comes as complimentary with JioFiber's subscription. I am also lucky to have relatives who pays for Prime and Netflix and doesn't use it. So I get those for free as well. Recently I realised that YouTube premium subscriptions are not worth it. Creators I watch has ads of their own on videos. So have stopped paying for YouTube Premium.

I am more curious to know apart from OTTs. What else are forum members are paying for? Like subscription like Canva, Google One etc.

Google One- 129/month
Amazon Prime- 1499/year
Hotstar Premium- 1499/year
Netflix Basic- 199/month
Spotify Premium Student- 59/month
TimesPrime- Using 800 Supercoins
Swiggy One- 299 for 3 months
Bewakoof Tribe- 299 for 3 months
1mg Care Plan- 276 for 6 months

I have free complementary Airtel Xstream Premium (not much used though), Discovery+ from TimesPrime and Apollo Circle (less frequently used but only service that delivers medicines within hours). I also have and use Audible through coupons from various apps.

Most used and definitely to be renewed are Netflix, Spotify, Hotstar, Google One and 1mg Premium.

Times Prime is least used, rarely of any actual benefit so that will be dropped. Swiggy One only if available on offer otherwise nope. And Bewakoof Tribe depends when I purchase something from there.

I have prime video youth offer with my son for Rs 750/- per annum and Netflix basic, D+HS, Sony Liv, Zee5 & Sun Nxt apps are complimentary with my ACT fibernet150 mbps 6 months advance rental plan

Currently subscribed to Disney+ Hotstar Super plan for 3 Months at Rs. 299 and Netflix Basic plan for 1 Month at Rs. 199.

I renew the subscription of only these two platforms whenever parents get bored or they are in mood to watch web series. In terms of Web Series, they find Hotstar Specials very entertaining and Netflix for movies.
