Breaking Government subsidy to Haj pilgrims withdrawn

Two points of views I have seen in this discussion-

1) Don't give Haj subsidy and use it for education - I agree with this, I even encourage such decision

2) Dont give Haj Subsidy because I am not getting it for my own religious travels - I don't think it is a good point of view.

About 2nd point ...
This subsidy system was introduced british govt in 1932 in order to keep muslims away from independence movement . Later on in 1954 nehru govt started subsidy giving actually and regular basis .
It was not like he couldn't have given same subsidy to other religion people . It was just minority appeasement program which british started and Congress continued till this date . ( Just so you know , congress in Karnataka has told Lingayat community to vote congress and in exchange of that it will give them minority status as well as seperate religion status. )

If India is not a Secular state by these points, neither India is not a Hindu Nation also. As i said earlier only Sanghis keep on telling India is a Hindu Nation.

A nation with 80% hindus is a Hindu majority/Hindu natiom, whether u like it or not. This point was made very clear in 1947 during partition.

Just like how Israel is a Jewsish nation with 75% Jews. if u want more example i can give

Then u have guts don't use Atomic missile & other missile which was discovered by our late APJ Abdul kalam sir. face the war with pakistan & china Without those missiles who discovered by a Islamic man

A Hindu nation doesnt mean Hinduism as a state religion. A Hindu nation means a nation which has 80% as hindus, a land where other people are free to practise their religion freely.
