I am not sure how much crime will go down as genuine criminals don't care for laws.But there will be huge rise in fake cases which are already sky high.

What we need is a strong punishment law for women if they file false cases. But nobody thinks about common men.

@Anish Pai if you read the article you will see everything is written there to protect a woman victim which is good and should be done. But one thing is missing. This ordinance does not say anything what will happen if a false case is registered and a man gets lockup up in jail for months. He will lose everything his job, his reputation. It will be difficult for his wife, sister or daughter to live in society only because of a false allegation. Who take the responsibility of all these ?

What's the use of this law. Anyhow criminals with more money and political influence can escape from this law easily through appeals...
I will only believe this law if the criminals of Asifa are hanged to death.....
