I have read at many websites that camera performance is slow on Pixel 3a. It takes time in rendering and saving the photos after clicking. Is it true?

Yes. If we take several pics continuously, it takes a while to save them.

Not natively but do 3rd party apps work for call recording? I read somewhere in past that latest Android versions do not support call recording which made all call recording apps useless.
