"HIT-WICKET " House-Md bro

This is wrong. The nation or its flag isnt responsible for an individuals actions. I hope they leave the flag alone.

Looks like the Sikhs are protesting on a large number.

Those Sikhs are protesting against 1984 Operation bluestar as they always do. They held Indira Gandhi responsible this that's why they killed her. They don't consider India as their nation so your word does not matter anything for them. They want freedom and independent Khalistan so they are tearing our Flag.

DDF should not be made a place for political posts, and to put up or unleash ones political agenda.
sorry to say nobody having any political agenda @Anish Pai bro. I hope you understand. We can support one, oppose one thats democracy. But I really dont know whether you believe in democracy or not because you cannot stand any negative points about our honorable p.m. Mr Modi even if its true.

Please help me split the threads into three.
Done.

India vows to fix cash crunch as ATMs run empty — again
Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit apologises to woman journo for “pat on cheek”

First one was closed due to abuse. We can close this one too if it goes there. Unless someone posts abuse why ban all topics?
We have topic based ban system, instead of whole account ban. So that can actually be done! Good idea.

And about political posts. If we ban one political post then we have to ban em all. We simply cant ban AGAINST threads and promote FOR ones.
We never encourage/support such partiality. Good is good, bad is bad. Be it your favourite party or opposition party. No idea what made you say this!

May be we can ban members if they post abuse or behave un-professionally more than thrice on a thread, but simply banning a topic for being a citric isn't fair.
And, hence this topic is still in open state.

Thanks. :)

Nopes, my comment was not against DDF or its policy. It was just in general fearing a thread closure asking why would we ban thread unless abuses were posted.

Thanks. :)

Why Modi's Road to South Block in 2019 Must Pass Through the South.

--

The math for 2019 as far as the BJP is concerned is quite simple. It has to gain in the East, Northeast and South to compensate the losses that it will suffer in the North and the West.

Traditionally, the BJP has failed to make any inroads in the South because it’s largely seen as a North Indian party and its trump card of Hindutva doesn’t work in the region. It’s important to try and understand the prevalent political situation in the southern states and interpret what picture may emerge in 2019. Both the national parties are marginal players in the South and they will have to rely on the hegemonic regional outfits in various states. The political mood is fast changing due to a number of local and national issues such as the resentment against the fund allocations to the southern states by the 15th Finance Commission, the Cauvery water dispute, special category status (SCS) demand by Andhra, the political turmoil in Tamil Nadu and the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Elections

India's North-South Divide Is Major Political Problem.
--

(Bloomberg View) -- When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the southern city of Chennai recently, he must’ve been startled by the welcome he received. Half the city, it seemed, had turned out to wave black flags at his motorcade, as well as banners that read “Go Back, Modi.” When the prime minister hopped into a helicopter, the crowds cleverly sent up black balloons in its wake.

QuickTake India's Aspirations

The vitriol wasn’t entirely personal. Protesters in Chennai -- capital of the prosperous state of Tamil Nadu -- had singled out Modi as the most high-profile representative of a New Delhi establishment that many Tamils have begun to see as biased against them.

Marchers were angry about a very local issue -- the federal government’s reluctance to implement a recent Supreme Court order dealing with water-sharing between Tamil Nadu and the neighboring state of Karnataka. But disenchantment in India’s south isn’t limited to a single issue or, indeed, a single state. The BJP is on the defensive in Karnataka as well, where the incumbent chief minister has sought to turn coming elections into a referendum on sub-national pride.
