Today i sent email to airtel customer care (net at airtel dot com) to change dns address for my airtel connection.

Let see if they change or deny to change.

Also when they call me to proceed for this changes i will ask them if there are any consequences of changing dns address? Like what if iptv stop working after changing dns as airtel iptv is dependent on airtel network only.

I think they won't honor the request. Even if they do, it will be overwritten on ONT firmware updates or reboot.

It's wise to use your own router by connecting it to Airtel ONT using ethernet.

But for doing so we need to put airtels ont to bridge mode right?
