Nice initiative by Vi but they should have increased a little bit and introduced unlimited calling. Atleast customer using broadband at home and office could easily shift to Vi at least in urban areas where Vi works good.

Vi needs to uncap the speeds in all circles and needs to give 4GB/day for 28 days in 299. And 2GB/day for 28 days in 249. Also they need to shut down 3G as soon as possible wherever it's there. Thats the only way they can stay in the game. Within three years they can improve their condition.

I agree, if this plan were priced at 599 for 180 days or 1199 for 365 days and offered unlimited voice calling with no data or SMS benefits then it would have brought the monthly cost down to 100 Rs and would have helped cater to a segment that is underserved in the market right now.
Vi is focusing on the premium data segment but their network isn't capable of competing with Jio and Airtel on that front, rather they should shift their focus to the 2G voice segment and try and get their profits from there.
