Network is depends upon Area To Area Is Different,
But what I like most about Vi is that those who do not have a 5G smartphone can definitely use
unlimited 4G data in Night..
(Which is No one is offering that thing right now)
Network coverage is still better than Airtel in Mumbai, Gujarat, Kerala, Goa, if Vi uncap the speeds( I know how much market share fell in these circles between 2018-2020 after merger was announced). Beyond that it's not good. Airtel excels if you have CA device phone. With CA device, Vi remains sh#t because it's capped to 40Mbps. So night unlimited doesn't make sense. By next year end, everyone will have great 5G handsets in their hand and at the same recharge or less denomination, Jio will give 350-550 on 250-300 INR monthly. So Vi unlimited doesn't make sense. It was temporary thing. If Vi didn't have removed double data offer in start of 2021, Vi would have gained lot of revenue. It was 249/299, 4GB/day along with unlimited night offer. 5G spectrum purchase was not needed. It was decision taken in the haste. Vi should have focussed on 4G/4G+ coverage along with VoLTE/VoWifi and things would have better. A place like Chennai and Bangalore don't have Vi band 41(I know lot of people from these two cities have shifted to Airtel due to lack of capacity). I don't understand this strategy at all. Where you have purchased 5G spectrum, there you have not deployed also after one and half year. On most of the highways I have travelled this year, Jio has fantastic coverage of N28/N78. So there was no point in wasting money when you had money crunch. Management needed to take better decisions. They couldn't.
Last two years, all budget devices were not so good. Personally I feel due to snapdragon 695 and due to lack of R&D from Redmi. Somehow Redmi has managed to bring itself back in competition this year.
Redmi 12 5G/Poco X5 Pro 5G/Poco F5 5G were available at great price points this Diwali festivals. I hope everyone who wanted to upgrade has utilised the deals.
Motorola finally launched phones with aggresive price tags between 20-30K and some below 20K as well.
Lava Agni 2 5G is excellent device as well.
Realme 11 Pro Plus is good device as well.
One Plus Nord CE 3 is good device as well.
iQOO Neo 7/Nothing Phone 1 was good device as well.
iQOO Z5 from past working superb as well(Mi 10i which was best selling device now supports Jio network). There are Infinix Zero series devices which are great as well for those who doesn't care about software updates. There are some good Galaxy 5G devices as well.
Upcoming Realme 12 Pro Plus and One Plus Nord CE 5/One Plus Nord 5 will be hot selling devices in my opinion around 30-33K. So 4G network now doesn't make sense(atleast for Jio, as 5G customers have reached 100 million, and will reach 200 million within no time if tariffs are attractive and VoNR is solved by Jio) after Ambani reveals the 5G tariffs in January. Vi will be in big trouble. After Jio gathers 200 million 5G customers, speeds will come back quiet lower than 1Gbps and these are a little more than LTE+ speeds.
