Vodafone Idea survival critical for Indus Towers: Akhil Gupta

Loss-making Vi has been struggling to raise funds needed to pay vendors and the government, expand its 4G coverage and invest in its pending 5G rollout to compete effectively with bigger rivals Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

going By my analysis, these two person Mr vaghela and Mr gupta are having good reputation in industry
and no one push them r paid them to say either truth/ falsify any info
which Mr Moodra does once in every quarter.

Two person are semi-insider in telco-vi and public /independent from Vodafone idea ltd. so they are telling truth

which means Vi is on verge of collapse ,if not, then definitely shying away to make tough decision to close part of business for sure
most likely possibility is exiting in bottom 5 circle and provide intra circle roaming with airtel by sharing spectrrum
or
Close/ make plan to shutdown 2g network all india basis

It has been losing out on its subscribers to rivals Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio for more than a year now. In the same month, Jio added 3.9 million mobile users while Airtel added 1.51 million users, partly weighed down by sharp tariff hikes taken in its base prepaid rates.

So Vi not paying to a company in which they have 20% share, these dues also may result in shares adjustment.

going by all news and past 6 months development, actually no better word for losses and falling market share,

and looking at future opportunity, India Bharat needs only 3 telcos.
3 strong player in metro and circle A and/or highest population and /or highest developed economical state like kerala- these would be airtel+jio+vi

all other state like circle C and B need also 3 STONG player- Jio, airtel and Bsnl

but its very difficult to be sustainable and strong player without being national telecom company.

so once vodafone exist this JV, then management +birla+ Govt can balance out the equation by combining 2g network all over cities+village and also launch 5g in there respective zones.

otherwise every analyst is predicting or betting DUOPOLY in country.

2G network should be wiped out by Avoid+BSNL by 2025. 3G should shut down completely by 2024 April.

It's important for Modi to merge Vi(Idea after Vodafone leaves) in BSNL. They will have some kind of synergical effects going forward due to Band 1/41/8 common. They can give us blanket coverage as well as capacity by 2025. Idea management will look forward to deploying 5G and BSNL should look after 4G. This is ideal way going forward. Without this, both companies cease to exist.
