My brother tried sending sms from this. But couldn't send. He had to wait for 23 odd days to finish this pack and again recharging with 91 and then send port message on 24th day.

Well I have done something and working perfectly...
I have inserted to jio phone the number which i wanted to port yesterday...then sent a miscall to 1299..got few messages of recharging...
Today the sim allowed to recharge rs 75 which is for jio phone..now i am not porting because I can keep the sim active by recharging 75 once in 3 months...also getting sms enabled..

Great boost in ARPU. I still feel it can touch 250+ if they remove more and more inactive subscribers from their network.

I think Airtel is behind tariff hikes more than Jio. Jio is already having good revenues. Vi-Jio will follow Airtel.
