Almost all the cooking happens on LPG, still most houses keep one traditional fireplace and some firewood. That will be usually used to boil water for bathing (outdoor) or for cooking rice if more quantity needs to be cooked. Infact a fireplace is not required, 3-4 bricks kept in open is sufficient.

Most Assamese kitchen at smaller town and rural areas has mudddy kitchen. Despite having modern houses. Only because of fireplace.

How do you clean these? I tried saving some utensils from curd and ice cream. The stains just won't come off.
Bro to update you, we cleaned with water and some dishwasher and it went well though there is little smell but it can go once it gets dry completely under sun light.

As per my office colleague, he said just to use a wet cloth and then dry cloth to clean the pots instead of using water. Just try this method bro.
