In Assam and Bengal onion and masoor dal are also considered non veg.
Garlic is also considered as non veg.
But,Mutton is not considered as non veg in our area
First time heard this. Why these 3 things are considered as non veg in your respective areas?
Logically it's not a non veg. Spiritually, especially here Jain people consider it as a non veg. Also we do not eat onion, bringal and garlic for 6 months at home. Mostly from July to December.
Well not non-veg they are avoided because they come under Tamasic food category according to ayurveda.
 
Why is Oreo flavour an actual thing? Oreo is just Oreo. That's it.
