In Punjab its called as "Ber ". It is a winter fruit.

While in Kerala, I never had it.
From last few years, it is available on Bangalore streets (along with Jamun) during season.

Today we used maggi atta noodles masala to make soyachunks's tarkari (+1 potato) and it was delicious. Sometimes i eat maggi with the ingredients: black pepper, salt, potato and onion only. So we use the masala to make different dish. Forgot to take a picture.
