Above image posted by Reddit India has created a buzz on social media and led to a Twitter war between e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon.
The image shows an Amazon package in Flipkart's office reception. Many Twitter users began mocking the Indian e- commerce website after this post.
Even @Flipkart Orders from @Amazon! http://redd.it/2wj47u pic.twitter.com/ wqOISAg1ia

Flipkart, however, soon replied to the tweet saying that the package was being used as a 'reception dustbin'.
@redditindia We recycled said packaging as our reception's dustbin.
— Flipkart (@Flipkart) February 20,2015
This created a massive stir on Twitter, with many users calling out to Amazon India to respond to Flipkart's quip.
@Flipkart @redditindia Flipkart and Amazon, go get a knife you both, let's see who wins.

Amazon, however, did not go for a sharp retort and instead took the high road, saying:
@redditindia There is a bit of Amazon in every eCommerce company. #justsaying
— Amazon.in (@amazonIN) February
Flipkart took this statement in humour as well and responded:
@amazonIN @redditindia We'll drink to that. o/\o

This is not the first time the two companies have locked horns. In the intense fight for the crown in India's e-commerce market, Amazon had reportedly hijacked Flipkart's Big Billion Day Sale last year buy buying the domain name bigbillionday.com. So, users who logged on to bigbillionday.com were redirected to Amazon India's website instead of going to Flipkart.
Before that, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had announced a $2 billion investment in the company's India arm just a day after Flipkart had raised $1 billion from investors.
