The Gohana police arrested two men for robbing Rs 21 lakh at gunpoint from the Flipkart office in Haryana's Sonipat on Tuesday. The search for a third accused is underway.
Identified as Sumit, the main accused is a former employee of the company, police said. Terminated from his position at Flipkart just a month back, Sumit planned the robbery along with his accomplices Anil Tiger and Sandeep.
Police said the main accused was well aware of the increased cash flow in the office during the Diwali season, and had planned the timing of the robbery accordingly. Two others were involved in the crime.
