FlappyBird was a sensation earlier this year,
but then suddenly the game was pulled from
both Apple's App store and the Google Play
store. Now according to a TechCrunch report,
the game is hidden in the final preview build of
Google's latest mobile OS -- Android Lollipop.
It appears Google is paying tribute to the
highly additive game that has spawned millions
of copy cats.
The game is hidden as an easter egg in the
setting menu. Th game pops up when one taps
on the Android version repeatedly.
While it is not clear if this will be still there in
the final version of Android Lollipop, but all will
be revealed once Google pushes out the
update to its Nexus devices or when the new
Nexus devices are available in early part of
November.
Flappy Bird was notorious for being an
extremely difficult to crack and since it went
viral it has a cult like following.
